The R-M brand is the specialist in top-of-the-range bodywork paint. The brand was created in 1919, but it was in 1931 that R-M launched its first metallic repair paint for cars and motorbikes. Things accelerated very quickly, with R-M's first tint mixing system being introduced in 1948. In the 1960s, the brand's manufacturer moved to Europe, near the French capital, to improve its research, development and manufacturing. After extensive testing, the brand began to supply the first waterborne paints for car manufacturers. R-M is one of the flagship brands of the BASF group. R-M's flagship line: Onyx HD

The Onyx HD range was developed by R-M and works on a system of pigment pastes + binders. The colours are not pre-diluted, allowing bodybuilders to use fewer products. The Onyx range is also compatible with the Crystal Base range for various special effects. This range stands out for its high Theoretical coverage, relatively short evaporation time and consequently reduced process time.

This Clearcoat stands out for its ease of application, as it is already diluted, allowing body repairers to eliminate the need for a preparation step before application. Clearcoat Glossclear is a top-of-the-range clearcoat with an exceptional finish. It should be used for work requiring a very high quality finish, offering an incomparable gloss. R-M has also developed an ultra-fast Clearcoat: RapidClear. This Clearcoat dries in 5 minutes at 60°C.

Diamontop MS bodywork Clearcoat

Diamontop MS Body Clearcoat is a two-component clearcoat, ideal for part repairs but also for use as a complete finish. To apply this Clearcoat, we recommend two coats (1 thin coat and 1 wet coat). When mixing, we recommend adding R-M H9000 Hardener.

Silicatop Body Clearcoat

R-M Silicatop Clearcoat gives your bodywork a matt, even finish. This Clearcoat is also suitable for use with H9000 Hardener and SC850 Thinner. This Clearcoat allows you to be more productive during your bodywork work thanks to its ultra-fast drying time of 30 minutes at 60°C.

Clearcoat Crystalclear CP VOC

EasyClear Body Clearcoat

R-M's EasyClear Body Clearcoat is a car varnish that can be used for all types of repair work on cars and motorbikes. Before applying to your bodywork surface, we recommend that you mix and filter well to obtain a clean, precise result.

Everclear bodywork Clearcoat

Everclear Clearcoat is very easy to use and apply. It's perfectly suited to use on the whole of a car and ensures excellent results for the bodyshop. We recommend that you mix well and filter before applying to the bodywork surface.

Glossclear Body Clearcoat

Glossclear bodywork clearcoat has excellent application and spreading properties, enabling you to achieve very high quality finishes. However, it is perfectly possible to produce only small parts. We recommend applying two full coats and waiting 3 minutes between coats.

RapidClear bodywork varnish

This Clearcoat from R-M is renowned for its fast drying properties. In fact, it's ideal for use on both patchwork and a complete vehicle. We recommend that you apply two full coats and leave for 3 minutes before applying the second coat to get the results you want.
