Description of Max Meyer Clearcoat UHS 0325
MaxMeyer UHS 0325 Clearcoat dries in 15 minutes at 60°C. What's more, it's easy to apply and gives an exceptional final appearance. This Clearcoat is ideal for covering the waterborne Matt basecoats Aquamax and Aquamax Extra from the MaxMeyer brand of car paint.
Preparation: car paint, hardeners and Thinners
Only use your Clearcoat once the Aquamax base has dried completely. In addition, remember to clean the base with a dust cloth before applying the Clearcoat. We also strongly recommend that you use Clearcoat at a temperature of 20°C. In terms of dilution with a Hardener, you can apply a Mixing ratio of 2 to 1.
Applying MaxMeyer UHS 0325 car Clearcoat
To apply the Clearcoat in one go, we recommend that you apply a Thin layer or a light but closed layer and a second normal layer so as to obtain a film with a thickness of 50-60 microns. Remember to apply the first coat to all the areas to be painted before applying the second coat.
If you wish to use a 2-coat process, we advise you to apply 2 normal coats to achieve a dry film thickness of 60-75 microns. In this case, the desolvation time between coats is 5 minutes.
Mixing ratio hardener: 2:1 with 1.954.2545 (slow) or 1.954.2550 (standard) hardeners.
Drying of Max Meyer Clearcoat
With the appropriate Hardener, the Clearcoat drying time (dry to the touch) is 8 hours at 20° and 15 minutes at 60°.
With IR drying, the drying time is 10 minutes on short-wave.
