Features of MaxMeyer UHS Hardener:

1) Versatile use

This professional product is compatible with a wide range of Max Meyer base tints and Clearcoats, offering excellent application flexibility.

2) Short drying time:

A Fast, Slow or Standard Hardener can be used to speed up the drying time, considerably reducing the waiting time between layers of paint or before handling a vehicle or the treated surface.

3) High gloss application:

Once the product has cured on your vehicle, the Hardener has a high gloss quality, providing a mirror effect on the treated surface.

4) High chemical and mechanical resistance:

The Hardener makes the coating more resistant to external aggressions such as chemicals, scratches and weathering.

The benefits of Hardener for bodywork work

1) Easy to use:

Thanks to its compatibility with many products, this Hardener is easy to use. To make your mix and find out the Mixing ratio, refer to the manufacturer's technical data sheet.

2) Enhanced durability:

It offers optimum protection against UV, ageing and mechanical wear, guaranteeing a long-lasting finish when repairing or touching up your substrate.

3) Fast drying :

Ideal for work environments requiring fast performance, it allows better management of job duration without compromising the final quality and appearance of the tinting system.

Preparation steps for MaxMeyer 2545 or 2550 Hardener :

1) Mixing

An automotive hardener is added to a waterborne paint system such as Aquamax Extra or Clearcoat. The precise Mixing ratio is generally recommended by the manufacturer.

Tech'team tip: It is essential to follow the manufacturer's Mixing ratio to ensure optimum hardening.

2) Application to your substrate:

Before spraying, make sure your substrate is clean and dry before applying your mixture. You'll get better adhesion and a better end result.

3) Drying time :

Once your coats have been applied to your body part, the product will harden quickly. See the manufacturer's recommendations for the full time before your substrate is completely dry.

Focus on the different types of speed (slow or standard) :

Choosing the type of Hardener:

1. Slow Hardener:

This type of speed is preferable for high-temperature, more complex jobs or for larger surfaces. It allows greater flexibility and is more versatile.

2. Standard Hardener:

Usually more used for quick repairs in more moderate conditions. It optimises productivity and helps bodybuilders save time when touching up in the body shop.
