Product description for Carross Rapid Gloss VOC 2:1 Clearcoat
This premium 2k Clearcoat is extremely fast-drying and can be polished after just 15 minutes drying time at 60°C (take time to allow the substrate to cool before polishing). This Clearcoat provides high gloss and impeccable final hardness. Exceptional product durability thanks to high resistance to chemicals, UV and weathering. The long pot life means that application is easy and safe for the user. Designed for use over water-based and solvent-based Basecoats. VOC compliant product.
Application advice for Carross Rapid Gloss Clearcoat
Remember to mix your Clearcoat thoroughly after adding the RGD2.5 Hardener, respecting the Mixing ratio of 2 volumes of Clearcoat to 1 volume of Hardener. Apply your surface using a Spray gun with a 1.3mm diameter Nozzle. Leave to dry for 5 to 7 minutes between coats to allow the solvents to evaporate.
Tech'team tip: The possible slight colouration of the Hardener does not affect the colour of the Topcoat.
It is important to allow the product to reach its recommended temperature naturally. We recommend that you do not apply the product at a temperature below 18°C. If the application temperature is too low, the coating properties may change and the final result may be altered. Before applying the product, the booth temperature should not exceed 20°C.
Tech'team tip: Storage and transport temperature must not be lower than +50°C. Acclimatise the product to a natural room temperature.
Protect the product from frost, heat, sunlight and humidity. Keep the closed jar in a cool, dry place. The product should be stored at a temperature between 10°C and 30°C.
