Characteristics, use and application of MaxMeyer Clearcoat 1.360.0325 :
Clearcoat 1.360.0325 is a high-extract 420g/L VOC UHS clearcoat that achieves 15-minute drying at 60°C, combined with easy application and outstanding final appearance, when used to coat Aquamax and Aquamax Extra waterborne Matt basecoat systems. Max Meyer 1.360.0325 is ideal for high quality automotive repairs and has excellent weather resistance.
It is easy to apply and provides an outstanding finish in the car body shop.
Using Max Meyer UHS Gloss Clearcoat :
Once your waterborne base coat has completely dried, use a Degreaser to remove any dust residues before applying your Clearcoat to your bodywork surface.
Tech'team tip: We strongly recommend that you use the Clearcoat at a temperature of 20°C.

Steps for applying Max Meyer Clearcoat 1.360.0325 :
1) Setting up the paint spray gun and technical data :
Using a Spray gun, set the diameter of your Nozzle to 1.2-1.3mm with a spray pressure of 2-2.2 bars. Mixing ratio with Hardener is 2:1.
2) Spray the Clearcoat on the area to be treated:
1-visit process:
Apply a thin/light coat then a second normal coat to obtain a dry film thickness of 50-60µ. You can apply the Clearcoat to all the parts to be worked on before applying the second coat. If you are reworking less than 3 elements, allow 1min 30 to 2min for desolvation. If you are reworking more than 6 elements, the desolvation time is not necessary. If necessary, use a clean cloth to remove any excess product.
2-coat process:
Spray two normal coats so as to obtain a dry film thickness of 60-75 µm. Observe a 5min desolvation time between coats.
3) Drying time for Clearcoat 1.360.0325 :
Drying in the booth takes 15 minutes at 60°C or 40 minutes at 40°C. Air drying takes 8 hours before the surface is completely dry.
