Properties of PT101 PowerTint body paint
Cromax PT101 Paint features a 2-component lacquer system for solid colours. It provides a strong, glossy finish and has very good Theoretical coverage with low product consumption. This means it can be used for joints, panels and complete paints.
Preparing PowerTint Paint
Paints in the Cromax PowerTint range must be mixed with a Thinner and Hardener:
For the exact proportions to be used, please consult the technical data sheet available to download in PDF format.
Preparing the surface
Clean the area with soap and water, then rinse and dry. Finish your preparation by applying Cromax Refinish degreaser or cleaner. After carrying out your repairs, sand the surface mechanically (P360-500) or with water (P800-P1000). Finish by removing sanding residues with compressed air and reapplying Degreaser with a microfibre cloth.
Applying Cromax PT101 PowerTint Paint
On a prepared surface, apply 2 full coats with at least 15 minutes between coats.
For metallic colours, apply a third coat.
Substrate for PT101
