Properties of PowerTint PT140 body paint
Cromax PT140 Paint is a 2-component lacquer system. You'll get very high gloss and perfect coverage, while using very little product. Very easy to apply and use, it's ideal for covering your fittings, panels and for making complete paints.
Preparing PowerTint Paint
Paints in the Cromax PowerTint range must be mixed with a Thinner and a Hardener:

Preparing the surface
Once the surface has been washed with soap and water, degrease it with Cromax Refinish degreaser. Carry out your repairs and sand the surface mechanically with 360 - 500 grit sandpaper or wet sand with 800 - 1000 grit sandpaper. Finalise your preparation by blowing off with compressed air and reapplying Degreaser/Cleaner.
Applying Cromax PT140 PowerTint Paint
Apply 2 full coats with at least 15 minutes between coats.
For metallic colours, apply a third coat.
Substrate for PT140 tint
PowerTint paints can be applied over all OEM finishes, surfacer primers and Imron Fleet Line surfacers.
