Cromax PowerTint paints are 2-component lacquer systems. They enable you to achieve very high gloss and perfect coverage, all with low product consumption. Easy to use and apply, they are suitable for all types of repairs: joints, panels and complete paints.
Preparing PowerTint Paint
Paints in the Cromax PowerTint range must be mixed with Thinner and Hardener:
For the exact proportions to be used, please consult the technical data sheet available to download in PDF format.
Preparing the surface
Clean the area with soap and water, then rinse and dry. Apply Degreaser or Cromax Refinish cleaner. After carrying out your repairs, sand the surface mechanically (P360-500) or with water (P800-P1000). Finish by removing sanding residues by blowing with compressed air and reapplying Degreaser with a microfibre cloth.
Applying Cromax PT148 PowerTint Paint
On a prepared surface, apply 2 full coats with at least 15 minutes between coats.
For metallic and pearlescent colours, a third coat is required.
Substrate for PT148
