DESCRIPTION

Properties of Standox U3100 reactive adhesion primer

U3100 reactive adhesion primer is a two-component primer. It protects against corrosion. It contains no chromates and complies with Directive 2004/42/EC on VOCs.

Preparing 2K U3100 Standox primer

Before application, the reactive adhesion primer must be mixed with the Etching Adhesion activator (vol. 1:1).

Applying the Etching Adhesion primer to the surface

Reactive Etching Adhesion Primer is applied in 2 coats. Allow 30 minutes at 18-22°C for the product to desolvate.


Substrates compatible with Standox® primer


This primer is compatible with the following sanded surfaces:

  • Bare metal
  • Aluminium
  • Galvanised metal
  • Cured Paint

It must be combined with a Standox 2K primer. It is not recommended to cover the reactive adhesion primer with Polyester (PE), Epoxy (EP), Standohyd® or Standoblue® products.
