DESCRIPTION

Features of the 4CR 4100.1000 Body Wash Primer

This Chromate free 2K reactive primer is specially designed for aluminium surfaces, providing corrosion protection and excellent adhesion to iron substrates. Also ideal for new parts.

A 2-component Chromate free acid reactive primer with excellent adhesion to iron and high anti-corrosion properties, specially developed for aluminium substrates. The product is used as a primer in the 3-coat system. It can be overcoated with all topcoats.

Application of 4CR Wash Primer for Bodywork 4100.1000

Before applying, we recommend that you test the adhesion on the final substrate.

  • Mix Wash Primer 4100.1000 with Hardener 0410.0500 in a 2:1 Mixing ratio.
  • Use a gravity-feed spray gun with a 1.3 - 1.5 mm nozzle at a pressure of 3-4 bar for 1 - 1.5 coats.

The product is dry to the touch after 20 - 25 minutes.
