DESCRIPTION

Description Carross AMP-X Multi Premium Primer

This premium primer has very good adhesion to steel, aluminium, zinc and surfaces repaired with polyester putties.
This premium primer can be used as: high build primer / high build primer or wet-on-wet primer.

Application of Carross AMP-X Multi Premium Primer

Use in high build version:

  • Mixing ratio 4:1 with Hardener for Multi Premium Primer AMPDU1
  • Thinner 10 to 15% with AMPDIG1 Thinner for Multi Premium Primer with High Fill.
  • Apply one to 2 coats with 10 min waiting time between coats using a spray gun with a 1.5 - 2 mm nozzle.
  • Dry film thickness: 70-180µm

Use as a filler :

  • Mixing 4:1 with Hardener for AMPDU1 multi-premium primer
  • Thinner 20% with Thinner for AMPDIG1 multi-premium filling primer
  • Apply one to 2 coats with 2-5 min waiting time between coats using a spray gun with a 1.6 - 1.8 mm nozzle.
  • Dry film thickness: 40-120µm

Wet-on-wet application:

  • Mixing ratio 4:1 with Hardener for AMPDU1 multi-premium primer
  • Thinner 30% with AMPDIM wet-on-wet multi-premium primer thinner .
  • Apply in a single coat using a spray gun with a 1.3 mm Nozzle with 25-30 min waiting time before applying the Topcoat
  • Dry film thickness: 20-30µm

NOTES:
This product has a very high filling power. For best results, keep the thickness of the dry topcoat at the maximum level of 180-200 μm. A higher thickness increases drying time and may result in coating defects.
