DESCRIPTION

Properties of 2K Clearcoat for aluminium F389 PPG :

Clearcoat F389 has been formulated for application on aluminium to achieve a transparent finish (tanks, trunks, buses...). It combines excellent appearance and durability with ease of application on large surfaces.

Application of Clearcoat 2K for aluminium F389 PPG :

  • Use in a 2:1 Mixing ratio with MS Hardeners F361 (standard) and F362 (fast) and thin to 25% with Deltron Thinners F371 (slow), F372 (standard) F373 (fast).

  • Spray with a 1.3-1.6 mm Nozzle at a pressure of 3.5-4.5 bar
  • Apply 1 medium coat and 1 full coat with 15min waiting time between coats

PPG F389 drying time :

- Drying at 60°C: 40min

- Air drying at 20°C: 18h

- IR drying: 15min

CLEANING EQUIPMENT

After use, clean all equipment thoroughly with a Thinner or cleaning solvent.
