Properties of DP5000 - PPG Paint Primer
2K primers are high build, two-component insulating primers suitable for a wide range of body shop repairs. Versatile, low misting on application, good tension and very easy to sand. DP 5000 is suitable for use on a wide range of substrates, including original paint in good condition, bare steel (Spot-repair), polyester body fillers and suitable adhesion promoters. These primers can be directly overcoated with DELTRON® UHS Progress or ENVIROBASE® High Performance finishing systems.
