Properties of DP5000 Dark Grey 2K Paint Primer - PPG :
DP5000 is a range of high build two-component insulating primers suitable for a wide range of body shop repairs. Versatile, low misting on application, good tension and very easy to sand. DP 5000 is suitable for use on a wide range of substrates, including original paint in good condition, bare steel (Spot-repair), polyester body fillers and suitable adhesion promoters. These primers can be directly coated with DELTRON® UHS Progress or ENVIROBASE® High Performance finishing systems.
The DP 5000 is part of the PPG COMPACT RANGE concept Combining D8521, D8525 and D8527 (see GreyMatic section) produces the Greymatic range of primers. This makes it possible to optimise the consumption of finishing paint and the overall duration of the repair process.
