First and foremost, this Clearcoat is designed for use on plastic parts such as bumpers, rear-view mirrors, plastic side rods, etc.
- A real advantage of this Clearcoat is its high elasticity, which makes it quick and easy to apply.
- This Clearcoat is also excellent for its matt effect with low gloss (around 5-15%).
- Even if matt Clearcoats tend to be a little fragile, that's not the case with this one!
Clearcoat application advice
- It can be mixed with other Mobihel Clearcoats to achieve different levels of matt if you wish. This makes it a versatile product to suit your needs!
- The colour is white and opaque. If you wish to use a hardener with the Clearcoat, we recommend a 2:1 Mixing ratio, using a Mobihel 2K hardener for the best possible result.
- The viscosity of the Clearcoat is 17 -19 s (DIN 53211 Φ 4mm/ 20°C).
- Note that when using a spray gun, it is preferable to open the Nozzle at 1.2 or 1.3 mm. The gun should have a pressure of 2 or 2.5 bar and the coat should be 50 - 60 micrometres thick.
- We recommend applying two full coats.
- Remember to wait about 15 minutes (at 20°C) between coats.
- The drying time for the product is 16 hours at 20°C and 30 minutes at 60°C.
