4CR anti-rust is a product designed to transform the moisture in rust layers into carbon dioxide. Rusted areas will be cleaned. The surface will be consolidated and insulated. Roughly clean again. 4CR 4040 Rust Sealer penetrates even thicker layers. It is particularly suitable for zinc-coated surfaces, stopping zinc corrosion. Shortly after application, areas attacked by rust will be isolated and can be covered with One-component or 2-component putties or primers. Adheres to iron, steel, aluminium and zinc.
4CR anti-rust sealer application advice
Before continuing with the application, the substrate must be clean, free of rust and degreased. Clean the substrate and remove any old rusty coats of paint. Apply the product with good coverage. It must be protected from damp.
