Properties of Spies Hecker Clearcoat Permasolid 8034

Spies Hecker Clearcoat Permasolid 8034 is an acrylic finishing liquid for bodywork. It can be used over several Permahyd lacquers. It is applied in two coats. This Clearcoat has excellent gloss properties and Reliable vertical stability. It gives a good gloss with excellent hold.

Preparation and application of Clearcoat 8034 Spies Hecker

Clearcoat 8034 can be applied to Series 280 and 285 Permahyd Pre-Lacquers.

It can be mixed 3:1 with the following VHS Hardeners:

Use also the Additive Permasolid High Solid for Clearcoat 9034, to adjust the viscosity (pot life at +20°C: 75 - 90min) 5% max. Using a 1.3 - 1.4 mm diameter Nozzle and a pressure of 2.0 - 2.5 bar, apply a veil then a full coat. A layer of 50 - 60µm thickness is recommended. Leave to dry overnight at room temperature, or for 15 - 20 minutes using infrared rays.
