What is Standox's Additive Standohyd?
Additive 2080045 is an essential component of the Standohyd system. It is used to prepare the coloured base for application, facilitating the dispersion of the pigments and guaranteeing a fluid, even and homogeneous application. It also optimises the behaviour of the product when sprayed, the quality of the spread and the reproducibility of the colours.
It is used in mixtures with the Standohyd range of colours and plays a fundamental role in viscosity, fluidity and application behaviour. Compatible with rapid-evaporation or ventilated systems, its low-VOC formula complies with European environmental standards.

How do I use Standox Additive Standohyd?
1. Preparation of the substrate and mixing ratio :
Mix in a 1:1 ratio with the Standohyd paint base of your choice. Your bodywork substrate must be prepared, degreased and sanded if necessary.
2. Application of coats :
Apply one coat of Additive to the Blending area of your bodywork.
3. Adjusting the Paint gun :
Blending area at reduced pressure (0.8-1.5 bar).
4. Finishing the surface :
Once your surface is completely dry, apply a Standocryl VOC performance pro Clearcoat.
