In the case of special-effect colours, it is recommended that you consult the base's technical data sheet.Additive Activator WB from Sikkens under standard application conditions (approx. 25°C with relative humidity between 20% and 80%).
Preparation of the MM400 black base:

2. Use a mixing stick to homogenise the base colour.
3. Using a special bodywork Spray gun, adjust to 1.3-1.4mm.
Tech'team tip: For your information, the Carross technical team recommends an application pressure of 1.7-2.2 bar.
For metallic colours, apply 2 x 1 coats followed by a placement veil. For opaque shades, only 2 x 1 coat is required.
Flash-off between layers :
Once the first coat of paint has been applied to your surface, it is essential to wait until your repair surface is completely matt and dry before applying the second base coat.
Before applying the special body Clearcoat, your car must be completely dry.
It is important to allow sufficient evaporation time until it is completely dry. To sand your surface, we recommend lightly sanding the damaged area using P800 abrasive paper. For your safety, make sure you use personal protective equipment.
Substrates compatible with MM400 base spray:
The MM400 deep black colour is compatible with all OEM finishes. Specially designed for passenger car finishes, this range is also suitable for finishing vans. What's more, special Additives optimise application flexibility.
