How to use A-U-39 primer

1. Surface preparation :
Before beginning application of the product, it is important to properly clean the metallized area to remove all traces of dust, oil or contaminants. Make sure the surface is dry and clean before applying the product.
(A-U-39 Black is formulated for Direct To Metal application, which means it can be applied to steel, aluminium or galvanised steel surfaces without a primer).
2. Application of primer :
Apply the product in an even coat using a suitable spray gun, maintaining an even distance to ensure even application. A-U-39 can be applied wet-on-wet: this means that once the first coat has been applied, you can proceed with the next coat without having to wait for the first to dry completely. This wet-on-wet process optimises the application process and speeds up workshop time.
3. Drying the product :
After applying the coats, allow to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions before continuing with the Topcoat coats.
