DESCRIPTION

Properties of Clearcoat VOC-Xtreme-Plus Clear Standox K9600

Thanks to its flexibility of application in 1.5 or 2 coats and its excellent vertical stability, VOC-Xtreme-Plus Clearcoat K9600 is very easy to apply. Its improved drying properties give body shops the opportunity to save time, increase efficiency and minimise energy consumption.

Preparation and application of Clearcoat VOC-Xtreme-Plus Clear Standox K9600

Simple 2:1 Mixing ratio with Standox Xtreme Hardeners 4570 (fast), 4580 (standard), 4590 (slow) or 4595 (extra slow).

This Clearcoat can be applied in :

  • a thin, closed first coat and a normal second coat without additional solvent removal.
  • two full coats with 0 - 2min desolvation at 20°C.

Application is made with a 1.2 - 1.3 mm Nozzle and a pressure of 1.8 - 2 bars.

Drying time for Clearcoat K9600 Standocryl Standox

Air drying :

  • 45-55 min with Hardener 4570 (below 5°C)
  • 30-45 min with Hardener 4580 (5 - 20°C)
  • 40-50min with Hardener 4590 (20 - 30°C)
  • 40-50min with Hardener 4595 (over 30°C)

Drying 40-45°C: 10 - 15min

Drying 60-65°C: 5-10min
