Description of the Cromax CC6750 Professional Clearcoat:
Cromax Pro's CC6750 Ultra Performance Clearcoat is the result of Axalta's Ultra Performance Energy System technology, which will optimise workshop working times and save energy. The excellent filling power also helps to guarantee excellent results. Thanks to the revolutionary resin technology, you'll save time and energy by drying quickly at 20°C or 40°C. What's more, because the Cromax Pro primer no longer needs to be activated, the treatment is even more effective when you're working entirely in the Ultra Performance energy system. It delivers excellent performance and an outstanding end result with effortless application.
As part of the Ultra Performance Energy System, this Clearcoat is designed to combine productivity and quality while saving energy.
Clearcoat Cromax features:
1. When used as part of the Energie Ultra System, no activation of the Cromax Pro Matt basecoat is required.
2. Flexible application in 1.5 or 2 coats to match the original appearance.
3. Excellent vertical stability
4. Exceptional filling power to cover dust inclusions
5. Very fast drying at low temperatures :
- 30-55 min at 20°C
- 10-15 min at 40-45°C
- 5-10 min at 60-65°C
6. Provides excellent hold, gloss retention and durability
7. Can be tinted with Cromax coloured Clearcoat Additives to reproduce special original tints
8. For use on plastic parts without difficulty
Adjustment, drying time and compatibility of use of Clearcoat Cromax CC6750 :
Tech'team tip: Before using the professional product, it is essential to wear adequate personal protection during application to avoid skin and eye irritation.
Clearcoat CC6750 can be applied to old paintwork or original paintwork that has been properly sanded and cleaned.
Setting the Spray gun to spray on your surface :
- Nozzle diameter: 1.2-1.3 mm
- Spray pressure: Conformal (1.8-2 bar) HVLP (0.7 bar)

Thanks to the composition of the Clearcoat, you will achieve Fast drying while keeping the drying time short.
Number of coats :
- Application in 1.5 or 2 coats with intermediate desolvation: 0-2 min at 20°C and 50-60 µm.
- Final evaporation: 3-5 min at 20°C
This Clearcoat can be recoated within 24 hours, without intermediate Sanding. It saves time during bodywork repairs and when drying in the paint booth. Easy to use, you'll get excellent finishing results. Finally, this Clearcoat helps body repairers optimise their workflow and increase the throughput of repairs.
