Description of Sikkens Autoclear Mix&Matt semi gloss clearcoat

The Sikkens Autoclear Mix&Matt system consists of the Mix&Matt low gloss clearcoat and the Mix&Matt semi gloss clearcoat. This system has been designed for use in the automotive sector for a high-quality matt or semi-gloss finish. Both Clearcoats can be mixed to achieve the desired level of gloss.

Application advice for Sikkens Autoclear Mix&Matt semi-gloss Clearcoat

  • Use with Mix&Matt Hardener (40%) and Mix&Matt Thinner (60%).
  • Spray with a 1.3-1.4 mm Nozzle and 1.7 - 2.2 bar pressure.
  • Apply 2 full coats.
  • Flash-off between layers 15 minutes at 20°C.
  • Drying time 20 min at 60°C.
