How to use Scholl Shock2Cut polish
The high-performance Shock2Cut cutting compound can be used on rotary polishers and orbital polishers. Shock2Cut is ideal for deep scratches or the removal of orange peel, Clearcoat grains and runs. It can be used as the 1st step in your polishing process thanks to its incomparable cutting power, which allows you to remove P1200-1500 grain scratches in just a few seconds.
For standard application, we recommend spider pad structured navy blue 20373. For larger defects and an even more aggressive cut, you can also use the spider pad black/white 20363 sandwich.
Once this operation is complete, we recommend applying a bodywork polish.
How to apply Shock2Cut
Step 1: Use an orbital polisher and attach a navy blue Spider pad to begin the polishing process.
Step 2 : Apply 6 dabs of polish to the navy blue spider pad foam.
Step 3: Using your orbital polisher, spread the Shock2Cut product over your bodywork in circular motions. This step disperses the product over your vehicle before beginning the polishing process.
Step 4: Polish your vehicle using circular movements for about 1 minute, until your bodywork is warm. For a longer-lasting shine, we recommend buffing at a speed of 500 rpm.
Step 5: Wipe off any excess product with a red microfibre cloth.
If the scratches persist: repeat the operation.
Once the bodywork scratches have been removed: use the IPA developer, which is essential between each polishing stage.
Tech'team tip: be sure to check the thickness of your Clearcoat to avoid getting onto the Basecoat.
