DESCRIPTION

Characteristics of SH5250 from Spies Hecker

Preparing the substrate for the application of 5250

  • Clean your surface with Permaloid Thinner SH7020 .
  • Lightly sand your surface after cleaning.
  • Once sanding is complete, remember to clean your surface again using a microfibre cloth to remove all traces of dust or residue.

Air drying

At 20°C room temperature :

  • dry for sanding 60-120 minutes (depending on Hardener used and dry film thickness)
  • 130-200 µm: after overnight

Accelerated drying

Drying at 60 °C substrate temperature :

  • 70-130 µm: 20-25 minutes
  • 130-200 µm : 25-30 minutes
