Properties of GreyMatic UHS 2K PPG paint primer
Greymatic UHS Prima is a two-component insulating primer for use in the body shop for a wide range of repair jobs. Versatile, fast-drying, easy to apply and sand, it offers corrosion resistance, film thickness, a high level of adhesion and a long service life.It offers excellent corrosion resistance, film thickness, surface levelling and gloss retention on a range of substrates including original uniform paints, bare steel, polyester body fillers and suitable adhesion primers. By simply adjusting the dilution rate, Greymatic UHS Prima 2-component can be used as an insulating, filling or tracking primer. It can be air-dried, kiln-dried or infra-red dried. It can be directly coated with Deltron GRS BC, Deltron GRS DG, Deltron GRS UHS or Envirobase. By combining D8018, D8019 and D8024 (see GreyMatic section), you can obtain a range of 4 shades of grey. By using the correct shade of grey (GreyMatic 1, 3, 5 or 7) as a tinted undercoat, you can reduce the consumption of topcoat and the overall repair time.
