Technical description of Sikkens Thinners in different versions:

Sikkens brand LV Reducer Superior Autoclear Thinner is an essential product for automotive paint applications, used to adjust the viscosity of paint or Clearcoat products. It ensures uniform application, a high quality finish and optimises the performance of the products with which it is used. This product is suitable for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY.

Sikkens Autoclear LV Superior Reducer can be mixed with standard and fast drying Autoclear VOC clearcoats to improve application and drying time.

Characteristics of the slow, fast and standard Thinners offered by Sikkens :

1. Compatibility :

  • Designed for use with Sikkens paint and Clearcoat systems, including Autoclear products.
  • Compatible with low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) bases to meet environmental standards.

2. Speed variants :

  • Slow Hardener (ref: 523752): ideal for applications in high temperature conditions (over 25-30°C). Allows more gradual evaporation for a smooth finish.
  • Standard Hardener (ref: 361846) : Suitable for moderate temperature conditions (20-25°C). Provides a good balance between evaporation and fluidity.
  • Fast drying Hardener (ref: 362395): Designed for low temperatures (below 20°C) or for work requiring fast drying.

3. Formulation :

  • Balanced blend of solvents that allow a fluid application, reducing the risk of drips, bubbles or irregularities.
  • Precise control of evaporation depending on the type of version chosen.

4. Premium finish:

Reduces the risk of orange peel skin or imperfections.

5. Flexible application:

Three variants to adapt to different environmental conditions.
