Description of MaxMeyer UHS Extra Fast Clearcoat 1.360.0390
UHS Extra Fast Clearcoat 1.360.0390 from MaxMeyer, an innovative car paint brand. This Clearcoat is suitable for any type of repair, whether partial or complete. Add to that an incomparable end result and you've got an excellent car Clearcoat! Having just one Clearcoat for all repairs makes for greater simplicity and improves workshop productivity. This totally translucent Clearcoat is designed to be applied over Aquamax Extra and Maxicar car paint lines. Used with a specific Hardener, performance will be optimised. Add MaxMeyer 6070 Thinner, and you can use this Clearcoat for a wide range of bodywork repairs and touch-ups!
Preparation: car paint, hardeners and Thinners
Only use your Clearcoat once the Aquamax base has dried completely. Also, remember to clean the base with a dust cloth before applying the Clearcoat. The hardener for this Clearcoat is MaxMeyer Hardener 1 954 2935. The Mixing ratio with this Clearcoat is 2 to 1. You can also use MaxMeyer Fast Thinner 1.921.6070, which is particularly suitable for UHS 390 Clearcoat.
Application and drying of Max Meyer Clearcoat 390
Clearcoat is applied in two coats: a light (but closed) coat and a normal coat. When applying between the two coats, allow 5 minutes drying time between coats.
When preparing your paint spray gun, we recommend a 1.2 mm Nozzle (2 bar max) and a dry film thickness of 50 or 60 microns.
Mixing ratio: 25% with Thinner 1.921.6070/6071
Mixing ratio hardener: 1:1 with hardener 1.924.2935
Drying :
With Thinner 6070 :
- 5 min at 60°C
- 20 min at 40°C
- 90 min at 20°C
With Thinner High Solid 6071 :
- 10 min at 60°C
- 30 min at 40°C
- 120 min at 20°C
