Description of Cromax Imron Elite High Solid EL500 Clearcoat

cromax Imron Elite EL500 Clearcoat can be used on Imron Elite and Imron Traffic finishes. This Clearcoat combines ease of application with a low risk of drips. It can be used for joints, panels and complete paints. VOC compliant and in line with Directive 2004/42/EC, this Clearcoat has excellent mechanical, chemical and weathering resistance and gives a very attractive finish.

Application advice for Imron Elite Cromax High Solid Clearcoat

  • Mixing ratio 3:1 with ET645 / ET640 or ET650 activators.
  • Spray with a 1.4-1.6 mm Nozzle and 3-4 bar pressure.
  • Application 1.5 - 2 coats.
  • Flash-off between layers 0 - 5 minutes for 1.5 coats.
  • Flash-off between layers 15 to 45 minutes for 2 full coats.
  • Drying time 1 hour at 60°C with ET645 activator.
