DESCRIPTION

Features of the Cromax P7 product

  • Very good resistance to corrosion and chemical attack.
  • Excellent adhesion to properly treated metal substrates.
  • Recommended as a first coat on new vehicles such as coaches, trucks and other vehicles.
  • Excellent filling power, ideal for typical rough substrates such as shot-blasted metals.
  • High resistance to moisture and good flexibility
  • VOC compliant, in accordance with Directive 2004/42/EC

Application of Cromax P7:

Mixing ratio: 5:1 with cromax P72 activator and 10-20% TPH710 Thinner

Nozzle and air pressure: 1.5 - 1.7 nozzle gravity gun and 3-4 bar pressure

Drying time :

  • at 20°C: 5h
  • at 40°C: 1h
  • at 60°C: 45min

Preparing the surface

  • Thoroughly clean your surface using a preparation cleaner for bare metals. Then remember to wipe with a clean microfibre cloth.
  • Sand and remove all traces of rust and corrosion
  • Remove all traces of sanding dust with a new clean microfibre cloth.
  • Degrease with a cleaner/degreaser, then wipe again with a clean cloth.

Tech'team tip: It's important to use a good solvent-based spray gun cleaner.
