This Spray is a One-component, Chromate free primer. This professional Spray guarantees optimum adhesion on bare sheet metal and very high protection against corrosion. It can be used before applying the primer, or to protect any areas uncovered while sanding the primer.
Support for application of Primer HP2000 1.880.2000 Spray:
This MaxMeyer brand Spray can be used on bare, zinc-coated sheet metal, provided it has been degreased and sanded.
Application of MaxMeyer Primer Spray :
1) Shake the Spray vigorously to homogenise the product.
2) From a distance of 15 to 20 cm from the surface, you can spray 1 to 2 coats with a minimum thickness of 10 microns and up to a maximum of 30 microns.
3) Drying time :
- Between coats: not necessary
- Application of lacquer or primer without sanding: after 10-15 minutes
- Wet or dry sandable at 20°C: after 30 minutes
Tech'team tip : We strongly advise against infrared drying.
