What types of PPG Hardeners are there?
Hardeners D8237, D8238 and D8239 are an integral part of the PPG solvent-based paint system. They are specially formulated to accompany the brand's Clearcoats and Primers. They enable drying times and application conditions to be adapted to suit the ambient temperature, the size of the repair and the workshop's production rate.
There are three types of Hardener:
- D8238 Fast UHS Hardener: general repairs on medium surfaces
- D8239 Slow High Solid Hardener: complete repairs or repairs to bonnets/roofs
- D8239 Extra Fast Hardener: partial work on small surfaces
