Use of Hardeners in the body shop:
1. Selecting the right Hardener for your repairs :
It is essential to select your Hardener according to the size of the repair, the ambient temperature and the time required.
2. Mixing with paint or Clearcoat :
Consult the manufacturer's technical data sheets for the exact mixing ratio. To adjust viscosity as required, you can add Max Meyer Thinner. Before spraying the mixing formula onto your vehicle's surface, we recommend mixing the can thoroughly to make the product more homogeneous.
3. Application to the vehicle :
a) Surface Preparation :
Thoroughly clean, sand and dust the area to be treated. Make sure the surface and workshop temperatures are within the optimum range for the chosen Hardener.
Set the Spray gun as recommended to ensure an even and effective spray.
b) Coat application :
Consult the technical data sheet for the exact number of coats you need. Follow the evaporation time between coats to avoid drips and defects.
