DESCRIPTION

Properties of Cromax Primer Plus White LE 2004

Primer Plus LE2004 complies with Directive 2004/42/EC on VOCs. With a very high solids content, it offers excellent filling power and the same thickness with fewer coats. It is suitable for both wet and dry sanding. This product is compatible with the ValueShade®* system.

Preparing Cromax LE2004 primer

LE2004 primer should be mixed in the following proportions:

LE2004 primer can be applied using two methods

  • Maxi-garnishing: this method isolates polyester putty stains and fills small sanding scratches or holes.
  • Sanding surfacer: suitable for fittings, panels and complete paints.

Application surfaces for LE2004

LE2004 primer is suitable for :

  • Original finishes and old steamed repairs.
  • Cataphoresis
  • Sanded polyester putties, epoxy primers and reactive primers.

It can be overcoated with all Cromax finishes.

*The ValueShade® system provides a simple solution to the problems associated with modern transparent pigmentations. There are 7 ValueShade® formulas corresponding to 7 different levels of intensity: from white to black and various shades of grey. The grey undercoat chosen reinforces the intensity of the transparent colour. The desired colour is obtained by applying 2 normal coats, the last of which does not need to be thick.
