3M Brand PPS Lid/Filter Pouches Description:

The PPS™ system (Paint Preparation System Simplified) is a 3M™ technology. It allows the mixing, preparation and spraying of primers, bases and Clearcoats for automotive repair.

This innovatively designed system has been developed to alleviate the need for mixing pots and cone filters and thus improve the efficiency and productivity of bodyshops. PPS™ disposable cups provide a "3 in 1" solution as they are used for mixing, spraying and storing preparations at the same time.

The PPS lid/filter pouches offered by the 3M brand are ideal for a variety of coatings. The system is designed for use with solvent and/or water-based coatings. This closed paint system eliminates the need for separate mixing cups and filters. The adapters are designed for use with almost all Spray guns.

Using 3M PPS lid/filter pouches:

  1. Insert your flexible pouch into the rigid 3M cup
  2. The mixture can be prepared directly in the 3M pouch.
  3. Once the mixture has been prepared, place your lid on the top of the pouch, then position it on the top of the cup and lock by screwing in 1/4 turn.
  4. Select the right adapter for your paint gun. Then push towards the beater so that it locks into the lid.
  5. Once the paint has been applied, disconnect the compressed air and press the trigger so that the paint returns to its cup.
  6. To remove the bag and lid from the rigid cup assembly, simply unscrew the lid 1/4 turn and push the assembly upwards using a finger placed in the window of the rigid cup.
